The Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Mr. Julius Debrah, has urged participants of the Ghana-China Business Summit held in Accra from June 23 to 27, 2025, to translate the summit’s discussions into concrete outcomes.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Debrah expressed optimism that Chinese investors would take advantage of the numerous business opportunities available in Ghana.
His remarks followed the week-long summit, which brought together prominent business leaders, Members of Parliament, and investors from both countries.
The Chief of Staff said, “I wish this summit could have continued for another week, but as with all good things, it must come to an end. On behalf of the President, I congratulate all of you for your participation, your business engagements, and your successful pitches.
As you return home, I urge you to ensure that the outcomes of this summit lead to real progress. Let us not make this just a talk shop, let’s move forward and, a year from now, have tangible results that show this summit was truly worth hosting and attending.”
Held under the theme “Synergising Opportunities: Strengthening the Ghana-China Relationship and Fostering a 24-Hour Economy,” the summit focused on deepening economic cooperation and exploring innovative avenues for partnership between the two nations.
