Coronavirus: The Seventh Day Adventists Church bans all public activities

The Seventh day Adventists Church has banned all public activities, effective March 16..

This is contained in a statement signed by the Communication Spokesperson of the Ghana Union of Seventh day Adventists, Yaw Asafo, urging members in line with the President’s directive to ban public gatherings for four weeks.

It says Church Services and meetings such as weddings, funeral, naming ceremony schedule are all suspended within this period.

Adentists schools will remain closed indefinitely until the Ghana Education Service issues a directive.

Provision is being made to prepare final year students of BECE AND WASSCE.

Hospitals and clinic will howeer remain open to the public.
