Deputy Minister of Education, Rev. John Ntim Forjour, says government remains resolute to ensuring that education remains the key to Ghana’s economic transformation.
He said this when he toured some communities in Assin South in the Central Region namely Kruwa, Homaho, Adiembra, Assin Manso, Amoabin and Assin Asamankese to explain government’s policies to the people.
The Deputy Minister said children are the future of the country, therefore they need to be guided and mentored appropriately.
Rev. Forjour promised that government will continue to create a conducive learning environment and interventions to enhance teaching and learning in the country.
He said one of such interventions is the introduction of the National Standardized Test, to assess the state of learning at all levels of education. This is expected to take place in November this year.
