Parents must support their wards despite free SHS – Council of PTAs

Rounds in some Senior High Schools (SHS) in the country by the National Council of PTA’s have revealed that some parents are riding on the back of government’s free SHS Programme to be irresponsible.

According to the Council, it’s visits, reveal that some students report to school without basic necessities such as toiletries and consumables  for the girls.

President of the Council, Alex Yaw Danso said the students when interviewed said their parents told them, government has promised to provide them with everything in school.
