The Faith Charity Foundation’s 13th annual Reach-Out Event for the less privileged took place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Resource Centre for Persons with Disability in Tamale.

The day was a celebration of compassion, service and solidarity, bringing together beneficiaries, volunteers, media partners and distinguished guests including the Municipal Chief Executive of Sagnarigu.

Director Dame Matilda Zenabu Pipio Eib opened the gathering with a heartfelt welcome address, expressing profound gratitude for the presence of all attendees. She emphasized that February 14, beyond being a global day of affection, reminded everyone of the shared responsibility to extend kindness to the vulnerable.

The event united the organization and its supporters as “one family” bound by the belief that every life deserves dignity, care and love.

The purpose of the Reach-Out was simple yet profound: to reach out, uplift and restore hope among the poor, aged, home‑bound and vulnerable whose daily struggles often go unnoticed. Activities included food support, medical screening, clothing donations and fellowship moments designed to remind each beneficiary that they are not alone.

The foundation’s mission is rooted in faith and driven by compassion, affirming that true development begins with caring for the most vulnerable. By coming together, participants reaffirmed their commitment to building a community where kindness is active and every individual can experience dignity and belonging.

The 13th edition celebrated both the continuity of the tradition and the growing impact it has made across the municipality and beyond. In her closing remarks, Dame Matilda thanked beneficiaries, partners and volunteers, saying “you matter, you are seen, and you are loved,” and urged everyone to keep giving, caring and believing in the power of collective humanity.

The event inspired attendees to sustain the spirit of solidarity, reinforcing that commitment and generosity make such missions possible. God’s blessing was invoked for the collective purpose of the Faith Charity Foundation.
