Ghana’s coronavirus cases hit 566

Ghana’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 now stand at 566. This is the highest daily confirmed number of cases.

The Ghana Health Service attributes the significant rise in confirmed cases to enhanced surveillance and intensive contact tracing and testing, among other measures introduced recently.

The cases recorded are in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Central, Upper East, Upper West, Eastern, North East Volta and Western Regions.

According to the portal, those with No History of travel stands at 66 point six percent while those with travel history is 38 point four percent.
