Congestion at the Bongo District Hospital of the Upper East Region will be a thing of the past following the inauguration of an 80-bed capacity pediatric ward constructed by Amuna family and friends.
The health facility was converted into a District hospital in 1996 without the corresponding infrastructure and equipment and has remained the only hospital in the District with a population of more than one hundred thousand.
