The Member of Parliament for Okaikoi North in the Greater Accra Region, Issah Fuseini has presented 100 chairs and tables worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to Abofu Presbyterian Basic School at his Constituency.
According to him the presentations form part of his support for education as the representative of the people…“My motivation is to support education, the opportunity I had to go to school, I want to create that opportunity for every child in this constituency”.
He therefore charged the authorities to handle them well for them to last longer.
The donations followed a request by the school authorities to help them stop the students from using stones as tables and chairs in class.
Headmistress of The School, Monica Boateng was thankful to The MP and promised to use them for academic exercise only.
