Oti Regional Health Directorate equipped with medical supplies

The Oti Regional Health Directorate has been equipped with some medicine supplies by World Vision Ghana valued over Ghc120,000.00.

The items included 960 boxes of medical examination gloves,392 boxes of disposable CPE gown,100 boxes of P&G water purifier and 50 pieces of WASH buckets

Mr. Irvine Aboagye,Southern Regional Operations Manager of World Vision Ghana, told GBC news that the donation was in line with the organisation’s corporate social responsibility. 

He noted that the gesture was to help the Ghana Health service in the oti region to provide quality healthcare services to the people and also help enhance their world in the region.

Mr. Emmanuel Galenku,the deputy finance officer at the Oti Regional Health Directorate who received the items,expressed gratitude to World Vision for their kind gesture and said the donation was time 

Mr. Galenku expressed confidence that the medical supplies would help the region improve healthcare service delivery.

The Oti Regional Minister Hon John Kwadwo Gyapong also expresses appreciation to world vision for their outstanding contributions to the regional and promised to monitor the use of these medical supplies.

Mr. Gyapong Kwadwo raised concerns over the rising cases of typhoid in the region and appeals to world vision Ghana to extend their hands to communities along Volta Lake.

World vision Ghana over the week has been in the Oti Region for many activities.

Signing the MOU with the Oti Regional CO-Cordinating Council,commissioning WASH facilities in Krachi-Nchumuru and Krachi West Municipal.
