Brigitte Dzogbenuku outdoored as PPP flagbearer

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has outdoored Brigitte Dzogbenuku as  it’s flagbearer for the December 2020 elections.

Brigitte Dzogbenuku who was the Running Mate of the Party in the 2016 election, was chosen by acclamation at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Party’s founder, Dr Papa Kwesi Ndoum who led the Party in the 2012 and 2016 Presidential election is not contesting this time round.

Madam Dzogbenuku  promised to bring back hope to Ghanaians by establishing a new kind of leadership with “bold ideas and actions” to transform Ghana and restore integrity, dignity, and sanity in the system.

She also pledged to restore good values, discipline and patriotism in the country when voted into power.

She said, “We have been promised a better Ghana and real change over the years but all we have seen is two sizes of the same coin with widening gap between the rich and poor.“.

The National Secretary of the Party, Paa Kow Ackon said the Party will follow up with its Manifesto launch on September 19.

The Progressive People’s Party, says it will outdoor policies which are feasible and sustainable within four years unlike the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP.).
