The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service, Headquarters Accra has written to invite The Chairman of People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Monah to assist in investigation.
The letter reads…”the CID Headquarters is investigating a case in which you were alleged to have threatened to resist any attempt by the Electoral Commission (EC) to compile a new voter’s register for the 2020 general election”.
The invitation letter issued in Accra, dated 28th May, 2020 and signed by DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku (ii), for the Director General added that, “you’re also heard in a video interview to have threatened “that people who are already Ghanaian: and already registered are going to be taken out of the voters’ register”.
