Deputy Editor of Mordern Ghana.com, Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, has sued the National Security Co-ordinator, demanding adequate and prompt compensation, release and surrender of all seized items, as well as criminal prosecution or punishment for individual officials who were directly or indirectly involved in human rights violations against him.

He also wants the court to provide any other remedies it deems fit regarding various acts of torture, including other cruel, inhumane or degrading treatments meted out on him.

The Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General are joined to the suit as second and third respondents.
