The Parliament of Ghana, under the auspices of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, is set to host the 9th Biennial Conference of the African Parliamentarians Against Corruption (APNAC) from November 7 to 9, 2025, at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge, Accra.

The conference will bring together parliamentarians, anti-corruption experts, civil society leaders, and stakeholders from across the African continent to deliberate on effective strategies for combating corruption and promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.

Held under the theme “Strengthening Accountability for Sustainable Development in Africa,” the event seeks to foster continental collaboration and exchange best practices that enhance the legislative role in the fight against corruption. It will also provide a platform for innovative discussions on policy reforms, institutional strengthening, and multi-sectoral partnerships.

According to a statement signed by David Sebastian Damoah, Director of Media Relations at Parliament, the conference reaffirms Ghana’s commitment to advancing integrity and ethical governance both nationally and across Africa.

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin, will deliver the keynote address during the official opening ceremony on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The statement further invited the media and the public to follow the proceedings and support the initiative toward building a corruption-free Africa.
