Members of Parliament have expressed shock at the passing of their colleague, MP for Kumawu in the Ashanti Region, Phillip Basoah.
The MP was in Parliament last Thursday but was taken ill on Friday. The three-time MP was Chairperson of the Employment, Social Welfare and State Enterprises Committees.
His colleagues described him as a calm and principled gentleman.
The MPs said the sudden passing of Mr. Basoah, has brought to light the need for Ghanaians to be conscious of their health conditions.
