The spokesperson for Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum’s campaign, Yaw Opoku Mensah, has stated emphatically that the campaign will not be drawn into toxic political tactics that distract from their core message to delegates and the Ghanaian public.

“We won’t join the destructive elements for our message to be lost on delegates and Ghanaians,” he said, emphasizing the need for issue based discourse over mudslinging.

Mr. Opoku Mensah warned against what he described as “purposeless politicking” that has long derailed national progress. “Let’s not be consumed by politicking that continues to eat away our future. We must break free from the cycle that holds us back with no end in sight,” he said.

He reiterated the team’s commitment to a forward-looking vision anchored in innovation, education, and principled leadership values that Dr. Adutwum is widely known for.

Mr. Adutwum has expressed his intention to contest the flagbearer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

As the internal contest intensifies, the campaign urged all stakeholders to rise above pettiness and focus on meaningful conversations that drive real change for Ghanaians.
