President Akufo-Addo has confirmed that Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has tested positive to the Coronavirus and is in isolation.
There have been conflicting reports about the health status of the Minister as some media houses suggest he is recuperating from an illness not related to COVID 19.
In his 11th address to the Nation, President Akufo-Addo wished the Minister and other Covid patients speedy recovery.
The President also confirmed that the Chief Executive of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, K.K Sam, has also died of the virus. Paying tribute to the late MCE, President Akufo- Addo described him as hard-working.
The President bemoaned stigmatising COVID-19 patients calling for an immediate halt to such acts.
