Suspect in Assemblies of God pastor's killing remanded

The prime suspect in the murder of the Senior Pastor of the Tema Community Four Central Assemblies of God, Reverend Dr David Nabegmado has again been remanded in Police custody to reappear on the 14th of February.

Presenting the facts in court, the Prosecutor, ASP Jacob Asamani, said the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, ordered for ten medical tests to be done. He said in view of this, the suspect has so far had nine and the last one is scheduled to be done on Monday the 4th of February.

He prayed the Court to adjourn for the suspect to undergo the last test so that the prosecution compiles all ten results for submission.

Francis is alleged to have stormed the office of Reverend Dr Nabegmado, who was his paternal uncle, on 30th December last year, slashed his hands and stabbed him in the right rib before slitting his throat.

He was arrested by the church members when he attempted to escape after the act.
