The main suspect in the murder of a Policewoman, Corporal Agartha Nana Babin, will appear before the Tamale Magistrate Court today, on fresh charges for attempting to murder one Tominu Yussif, in 2018.
According to a Police statement, in May last year, the victim went to a popular drinking spot in Tamale.
Whilst there, the accused person whose house is next to the drinking spot came around and started firing AK-47 rifle indiscriminately.
He went to the victim and demanded two thousand cedis. When the victim refused to grant his request, the accused person shot him in the left thigh.”
An eyewitness informed the victim’s wife who rushed the husband to the Tamale Teaching hospital for treatment. The suspect has since been on the wanted list of the police.
