Ghanaian forward, Bernard Tekpetey, delivered a moment of magic to hand Ludogorets Razgrad the Bulgarian Supercup, needing just one minute on the pitch to decide the final.

Introduced in the 69th minute in place of Erick Marcus, Tekpetey wasted no time making his presence felt. Barely a minute after coming on, the attacker struck on the 70th minute, scoring the decisive goal in a tense 1–0 victory over rivals Levski Sofia on Tuesday night.

The Supercup final, played at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, had been a closely fought contest, with both teams cancelling each other out for long periods. Levski Sofia showed grit and defensive discipline, while Ludogorets enjoyed greater possession but struggled to find a breakthrough.

That stalemate was broken the moment Tekpetey stepped onto the pitch.

Capitalizing on a defensive lapse, the Ghanaian forward showed composure in front of goal, calmly finishing past the goalkeeper to spark wild celebrations among the Ludogorets supporters. It was a classic super-sub performance — swift, decisive, and match-winning.

Ludogorets managed the game expertly in the closing stages, shutting down Levski’s attempts at a late comeback to secure the trophy.

The victory adds another Bulgarian Supercup title to Ludogorets’ growing honours list and reinforces their continued dominance in domestic football. For Tekpetey, the goal was a powerful statement of his value to the team — a player capable of turning matches on their head in an instant.

On a night of fine margins, one substitution and one moment of brilliance proved decisive.
