Tiger Eye PI welcomes CID decision to discontinue investigation into Bissue’s case

Private investigations firm, Tiger Eye P.I, has welcomed the decision by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to discontinue its investigations into allegation of corruption made against the Presidential Staffer, Charles Bissue.

A statement issued Monday, by the investigations firm headed by the undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, says the Police’s involvement in the case has been nothing but “an unhelpful distraction”.

It follows reports that the CID of the Ghana Police Service has exonerated the former Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on illegal Mining (IMCIM), Mr. Bissue, from allegations of corruption.

Mr. Bissue who was indicted in the Anas exposé on fraud in the sector stepped down from his post due to what he said was in the interest of transparency and accountability.
