The trade fight between the United States and China has gotten more intense. U.S. President Donald Trump has raised taxes on Chinese goods coming into America, bringing the total tariff rate to as high as 245%. This move, according to a White House document, is a reaction to China’s actions in response to earlier tariffs.

The situation escalated after China told its airlines to stop buying more planes from American company Boeing. This came after the U.S. had already put a 145% tariff on Chinese products.

Now, with both countries hitting back at each other, the trade war has grown deeper, affecting business deals and economic relations between the world’s two largest economies.
