The Ngmayem Festival is an annual harvest festival celebrated by the Krobo people of Ghana. This year’s festival was celebrated in Dodowa, a town located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The occasion was themed; Environmental Protection, Unity and Respect for Tradition, under the leadership of Nene Oklekmeku Atropa II, Dodowa Tadonya Matse.
The event was graced by the presence of Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, Linda O. Akweley Ocloo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister and MP for Shai-Osudoku, Godfried Ignatius Dordei, DCE of Shai-Osudoku District, Michael Kpakpo Allotey, the Accra Mayor and other government officials and dignitaries.
