Accra Hearts of Oak secured a commanding 2-0 victory over Heart of Lions to claim the 2025 Homowo Peace Cup. The Phobians took control early in the match thanks to goals from Frank Abora Duku and Hamza Issah, putting their side firmly in the driver’s seat.

Former Vision FC player Frank Abora Duku opened the scoring in the 36th minute, netting his first goal for Hearts of Oak. His clinical finish energized the team and the fans, setting the tone for the remainder of the match. Abora Duku’s contribution proved pivotal in giving the Phobians the early advantage.

Just four minutes later, Abora Duku showcased his playmaking skills by assisting Hamza Issah, who doubled the lead with a well-taken goal. Issah’s strike further strengthened Hearts of Oak’s grip on the game and put the Heart of Lions under significant pressure.
