The Black Queens started their first training section on Tuesday 28th November 2023 ahead of their Match against Namibia on Friday 1st December 2023.

In accordance with that, the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku paid a visit to the team at their training grounds in Accra as they prepare for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers encounter against Namibia. The president was accompanied by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton.

Kurt Okraku encouraged both the team and the technical team to deliver an impressive performance in the qualifiers as they have always done in their previous matches.

With the guidance of Coach Nora Huptle, The Black Queens are more determined to secure a spot in the WAFCON, scheduled to take place in Morocco. The Black Queens need a formidable win from both legs to qualify for the tournament.

The match is slated for a 3:30 pm kick-off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, December 1st, 2023.
