Former Premier League sides Real Tamale United (RTU) and Techiman Eleven Wonders are set to clash in a high-stakes playoff match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, 30 May 2025. The winner will secure a coveted place in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

RTU, relegated last season after a disappointing campaign, have staged a strong comeback by topping Zone One A with 58 points. They scored 59 goals—the highest in the zone—and conceded only 21, the best defensive record. The Tamale-based side won 18 of their 28 league matches and are determined to make an immediate return to the top flight.

Techiman Eleven Wonders, relegated three seasons ago, have also shown consistency in their bid to return. They finished top of Zone One B with 53 points, scoring 42 goals and conceding 22. With 15 wins and just five losses, they are equally hungry for a place among Ghana’s football elite.

Both clubs boast Premier League experience and bring strong credentials into this playoff. With RTU’s resurgence and Eleven Wonders’ steady form, the stage is set for a fiercely contested encounter. The winner will claim the final promotion slot to join Ghana’s top-tier league next season.
