Road Safety Authority challenges media to name and shame enlightened people who violate road safety regulations

The National Road Safety Authority is advocating the naming and shaming of enlightened people who intentionally violate road traffic regulations putting the lives of people in danger.

Upper West Regional Director of the Authority, Mohammed Abdul-Samad said it is so disheartening to see people who know almost everything about road safety to be violating road traffic regulations with impunity.

Briefing the media in Wa on the Arrive Alive campaign, Mr Abdul-Samad said when such culprits are named and shamed by the media it will serve as a deterrent to others.

Mr Abdul-Samad said when the L. I. of the authority is finally put in place, they will expect strict compliance from institutions or they face the law court.
