Director-General of GBC appeals for voluntary payment of TV licence

The Director-General (DG) of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Prof. Amin Alhassan says as a mandated State Broadcaster, GBC would continue to provide its public service to the people looking at better content and coverage.

In a new year’s message to staff and Ghanaians, Prof. Alhassan again appealed for voluntary payment of TV licence fees to support GBC to serve the public well.

The DG also appealed to all political parties to have faith in GBC because they would be given equal platform.

He also urged them to buy air time to support the Corporation to improve on its services as well as organizations to also advertise on GBC’s networks to support the corporation to enhance its operations.
