NCCE, NIA begin sensitization on Ghana Card

As part efforts to increase citizens awareness on quality civic education, which is geared towards Ghana’s Democracy, the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA) has begun sensitization on the Ghana Card at the Ghana Fire Service Training Academy in Accra.

The Senior Civic Education Officer, Ashiedu Keteke sub-Metro, Rexford Mensah-Bonsu said the programme is to help trainees and officers at the academy understand how to use the Ghana Card.

The senior Civic education officer at the Ashiedu Keteke sub Metro, Rexford Mensah-Bonsu who led the team to educate the trainees, sensitized them to the items to present during the registration, how to generate GPS address, and the benefits of having the Ghana Card.

The Assistant Divisional Officer, Grade 1, Ezra Mingle who is also the Senior House Master of the Academy was grateful to the NCCE for the programme and called on them to do more in educating the public.
