The Police have arrested four (4) persons suspected to be part of a gang that robbed the private residence of the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at Walewale in the North East region of Ghana.
The police have confirmed that the incident took place over the weekend in the absence of Dr. Bawumia.
A visit to the residence, show that the burglers gained access to the residence after breaking down a part of the outer wall.
Five houses were also robbed the same night by the suspects.
According to a victim, Kombat Joe, the burglars made away with several personal belongings.
