Veteran politician and New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko has joined the party’s Middle East Chairman, Mr. Isaac Osae, to mourn the death of his 15-year-old son, following a condolence visit that has drawn strong messages of support from the party’s diaspora branches.
The news of the teenager’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the NPP’s external branches, particularly within the Middle East Branch. Mr. Agyarko, who is currently campaigning for the NPP National Chairmanship, paused his activities to pay a condolence visit, emphasizing the importance of family and unity during such devastating times.
The Middle East Chairman, a key figure in mobilizing the Ghanaian diaspora, is said to be inconsolable following the loss of his son, described by close associates as a promising and bright young man.
During the visit, Mr. Agyarko shared words of encouragement, drawing from his own experiences with family bereavement, most notably the loss of his younger brother, former Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Wagoon, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko.
The visit has highlighted the deep bonds within the “Danquah-Busia-Dombo” tradition.
Mr. Agyarko urged the NPP fraternity, both at home and abroad, to keep the Chairman’s family in their prayers.
Leaders from various external branches have sent messages of support, reinforcing the idea that the party stands as one family during personal tragedies.
Members of the Middle East branch expressed their gratitude for the visit, noting that Mr. Agyarko’s presence provided much-needed comfort to the bereaved.
The NPP community continues to offer tributes, honoring the memory of a young life cut short.
