Governance Expert, Dr. Fred Agyarko Oduro, has called on civil society, the District Assembly and the Community in which Parks and Gardens is located not to allow the lands Commission or Government to sell that facility to private investors.
Dr. Oduro said the country can no longer tolerate a few people to sell state property to their cronies or themselves just because they are in power.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Dr. Oduro said there are rules and regulations governing tree cutting and therefore the Environmental Protection Agency should also apply the law.
