Crystal palace striker Jordan Ayew scored from the penalty spot in the second half to clinch all three points for Ghana in the second group match of the 2021 Africa cup of nation qualifiers against Seleção dos Falcões e Papagaios of São Tomé with a 0-1 victory.

The Black Stars  started the game on a high note in order to destabilize their opponents, but the poor nature of the pitch prevented the Stars from playing the game according to the tactics of the coach which made the match a very difficult one for the Ghanaians.

A 48th minute penalty by Jordan Ayew was enough to catapult Ghana to the top of group C with six points from two matches

Emmanuel Boateng pounced on a loose ball through a blunder committed by São Tomé Goalkeeper Eusebia which resulted in a penalty with a foul on Emanuel Boateng.

Jordan Ayew was equal to the task and converted beautifully.

Coach Kwesi Appiah made a number of substitutions with Kudus Mohammed replacing Emmanuel Boateng, while Christopher Antwi Adjei made his Black Stars debut by replacing Samuel Owusu.

The Black Stars were not able to add up to their tally leaving São Tomé with just a 0-1 victory over the whipping boys in the group.

All games were live only on Gtv ,GTV sports+ and GBC Regional Radio stations.
