The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 27) is set to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Palms Convention Centre at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
The confirmation follows earlier concerns after organisers, Charterhouse Productions, revealed that the awards ceremony did not have a confirmed venue. The disclosure sparked public debate, with many questioning how an event of TGMA’s scale could be without a host location so close to the scheduled date.
In a previous interview, Head of Events Robert Klah addressed the situation, drawing further attention within the entertainment industry as fans and stakeholders awaited clarity.
Organisers have now confirmed the Palms Convention Centre, located within the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, as the official venue for this year’s event.
The decision has been welcomed by industry players, with the venue widely regarded as a suitable location for an event of the awards’ stature, offering modern facilities and a setting appropriate for a night of music, fashion and celebration.
