The Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul has arrived at the head of a high-powered delegation to assess the security situation in Chereponi.
Mr Nitiwul and his entourage is expected to interact with the people of Chereponi in order to restore law, order and peace in the area.
According to GBC’s Northern Regional Correspondent Murtala Issah, there has been military and police re-enforcement in Chereponi which is creating an uneasy calm.
On reaction to the ban on the use of motor-bikes, GBC’s Correspondent said it is an issue which must be seriously analyzed and addressed.
