The National Youth Authority will soon establish youth parliament in all the 16 regions to fast track youth development and also keep them abreast on proceedings in parliament in the country.

To this regard, minority and majority leaders will be selected to ensure its effectiveness.

The Eastern Regional Director of NYA, Marian Mansah Minna, dropped the hint when addressing Youth Leaders Forum organized by the Authority at New Juaben in Koforidua.

According to her, five districts and municipalities will be piloted for the programme before being extended to other districts.

Mrs. Minna maintained that the Authority does not support individuals but groups and urged all the youth to form associations and register with their outfit for help.

The Acting Administrator of the NYA at New Juaben South, John Adjepong, advised all unregistered associations and clubs in the municipality to come and register for the Authority to support them.

He said the authority is more focused on agribusiness and urged all associations in that business to come for assistance.
