Coach Appiah expected to name Joseph Aidoo in starting XI

The head coach of Ghana National team James Kwesi Appiah is expected to name Joseph Aidoo in his starting eleven in this afternoon’ encounter with the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.

The center back is also to replace injured Jonathan Mensah who is doubtful for the final group match in Suez later this afternoon. This was disclosed in a chat with GBC’s Jacob Narh Nortah in Egypt.

The former U-20 player who currently plays for Genk in the Belgian league after leaving Inter allies will be hoping to get the day right if selected.

With a lot of injuries concerns affecting the team, the firm Ghana coach is positive of improvising for a resounding victory against Guinea-Bissau.

After two matches without a win the Black Stars are poised for a resounding victory in the third match against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau at the Suez station. 

The match will be played at Suez Stadium at 16:00GMT, same time as the other group game involving Cameroon and Benin with Gabon referee Eric arnaud otongo-castane appointed by CAF to officiate the game.
